My Brothers,

Please join me in congratulating Bro. Wendell Hannaford, Bro. Eric Penzer, and Bro. Brian Rodriguez who were initiated into our fraternity as Entered Apprentices. Thank you Brother Ron Seifried for performing an excellent job as Master. I also extend my gratitude to the officers, past masters, and brothers of Jephtha who did a fine job of executing this beautiful degree.  In addition, I would like to thank Bro. Christian Boccone on his fine work in presenting the working tools. Thank you Charles for your assistance! The evening was highlighted by the performance of the questions and answers by W\ Ed Moritz and W\ John Forster. What a treat to have two past masters exemplify this important part of our ritual.
I would like to take a moment to recognize several very important gentlemen of our lodge. They are the foundation, the pillars, and the bedrock of Jephtha Lodge. These men through their tireless work keep this Lodge vibrant and alive. Their fine example is a beacon for any brother seeking more light at Jephtha. W\ Edward A. Moritz, W\ John V. Forster, W\ Robert C. Wuestefeld, and W\ John Lentinello.
 
This month, at our first meeting, the work will be the annual visit of the District Deputy Grand Master on December 8th, 2008 at 7:00PM. This is the most important meeting of the year and I encourage all the brothers of Jephtha to attend and share in an evening of fellowship and brotherly love and to give District Deputy Grand Master R\W\ Robert J. Brovetto and his staff officer Grand Sword Bearer R\ W\ Mark A. Hood  a warm welcome.

Once again it is Jephtha’s turn to exemplify part of our ritual at the Suffolk West School of instruction on Friday Evening at 7:30 PM at Meridian Lodge in Islip. The work that we will exemplify is the first part of the Fellowcraft Degree. It is important for all the officers to attend so that we can execute this degree properly. I invite all Master Masons of Jephtha to attend this rich educational school. It helps us to learn the correct way to execute our wonderful ritual.

Finally, please review the Dates to Remember to familiarize yourselves with upcoming events. I call your attention to two dates this holiday season. Sunday December 21st and Sunday December 28th. At the Northport VA Nursing Home for services for Christmas and New Years. Please consider attending the VA on one of these dates.

TRUSTEES UPDATE

Second floor Air Conditioners are installed and working.  We are receiving bids for the third floor Air Conditioner installations along with, under separate bid the forced hot air hookup from our new boiler to our new air- handlers for both the 2nd & 3rd floors.
