Bio: Born in London, England. Immigrated to US, 1888. Parents were James and Kate Williams Murphy. Wife was Lavilla May LaCoste Murphy. Moved to Huntington, 1910 after living in Westchester. Daughter was Mrs. William D. Chamberlain of Port Jefferson. Son was Cornelius Murphy of Huntington. Noble Grand of Odd Fellows, Ellsworth Lodge. Lived on High Street (1936). Interred in Huntington Rural Cemetery. One grandson at time of death
